Swedish Art Deco, all brass chandelier with double crowns, each detailed with a row of palisades. The lower crown hosts five arched arms with flat sides, which finish with a brass bobeche and a candle holder which holds a E-12 base socket.

The upper crown has arched stems which hold 5 modernist light reflectors. There are two support stems made of polished brass, the smaller of the two connects to the canopy.

Newly restored, polished and rewired (not UL).

The Swedish Grace style often embraced classical motifs however very sparingly. The fixture has 4 applied metal “swags” in the same color metal as the stem, canopy and finial.

One of two Swedish Jugendstil 3-arm chandeliers in polished brass. Each chandelier has been newly restored, polished and lacquered. Newly electrified with candelabra sockets inside of wax covered sleeves. There are three floral inspired light reflectors on the center stem, a solid brass ball finial and a polished brass canopy.

“Jugendstil” is a style which emerged towards the end of the 19th century in northern and central Europe. There were many influences which created this new or “young” style, one of which was a return to hand crafted quality furniture and decorative arts, another being the focus on the natural world as inspiration rather than retreaded forms of classism. The “vine” form, seen in these chandelier’s arms became a defining expression of the period’s style.

Very rare Swedish Grace polished brass chandelier which exemplifies the design aesthetic of the 1920’s at its finest. The “Swedish Grace” style was globally recognized at the International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts World's fair held in Paris, France, 1925.

This Modernist fixture references classicism with light abstract touches such as the stylized floral cluster, leaf form reflectors, and its “split into halves” cylindrical body. The side panels are frosted glass with clear stripes which extend the movement of the body upwards. A dramatically modern finial is balanced by the whimsical flower pot like canopy.

Swedish Art Deco Five-Arm Brass Chandelier with Cylindrical Glass Shades.

Swedish art deco five-arm chandelier in polished brass made circa late 1920s. Each arm is detailed with a stylized drape, a reeded sphere, a stepped bobeche and a candelabra base sleeve surround by a glass cylinder shade. The fixture’s stepped center form is delicately decorated with raised details between the arms and on the large sphere. This chandelier includes it’s original ceiling canopy. Newly rewired, polished and lacquered.

Large Swedish Art Deco 12-arm chandelier, brass with nickel plate finish. Each arm has a fabric covered 6-sided shade held in place with a crown shaped bobeche. The third tier is a cluster of stylized shells which reflect light when the chandelier is lit. Newly polished and lacquered, newly rewired each arm has a single candelabra socket. Produced by Svenskt Tenn, Stockholm.
